Tenth Hour: AI Power Skills for Lawyers
Four weeks. One article. A system you keep.
A live cohort for lawyers, paralegals and law students who want more from AI than a chat window. You leave with a working workspace, a versioned draft, a databank that cites its pages, and an article project you finish on your own.
Students pay $99 with a coupon at checkout. Full refund until session 2 starts.
Who it is for
Solo and small-firm lawyers, paralegals, new associates and law students. You already use an AI chat tool. A terminal is fine once someone shows you which one to open. Confidentiality matters to you, and you want to see the setup rather than hear about it.
It is not for you if you want a prompt library or expect a tool to write the article for you. You also need a laptop you can install software on. Firm-managed laptops need IT sign-off first.
The article frame
Every participant picks a topic for a law review or bar journal article in Week 0. The article is the project. The workspace, the history, the databank and the project manager are what you build around it. By the capstone you have a working system and a first section drafted. You finish the article on your own schedule, with the system doing the bookkeeping.
Why an article and not a matter? Public sources only, no client data, and a deliverable you can put your name on. Everything you learn transfers to matter folders the day you get back to the office.

Payment is handled by Stripe. By enrolling you agree to thecohort terms.
Questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You will type a few commands in a terminal and I will show you each one. Claude Code is a tool for working with files, not a programming course.
Can I use a real matter instead of an article?
Not in the cohort. Public or fictional data only, no exceptions. The skills transfer to matter folders. The cohort is not the place to test them on client material.
What if I miss a session?
A written recap goes in the cohort repo after each session, and the Discussions board is open all week. Recordings are deleted once the recap is written. The homework is what builds the system, so plan to do that even if you miss a session.
Is this CLE?
No CLE credit is offered yet. I can provide an attendance record if you want to seek self-reported credit. Whether it qualifies is a question for your bar.
Will you tell me what my firm's AI policy should say?
No. I teach tools and workflows. What the rules require for your practice is a question for your firm or ethics counsel. Week 2 covers how to find and apply the policy you already have.
Who runs this?
Harrison Huijskens, a 2L at MSU College of Law, through Tenth Hour Labs LLC. I am not a licensed attorney. More on the About page.
