Cohort terms

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]. These terms apply to Tenth Hour: AI Power Skills for Lawyers, the live cohort sold by Tenth Hour Labs LLC. Paying for a seat means you agree to them, together with theterms of use and the privacy policy.

1. What you are buying

A seat in one run of the cohort: four live 90-minute sessions, access to the private cohort repository with materials, homework, session recaps and a discussion board, and an optional 15-minute setup call in Week 0. The cohort is education in tools and workflows. It is not legal services, and it is not legal advice.

2. Schedule

Sessions run on Thursdays, January 14, 21, 28 and February 4, 2027, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm Eastern, on Proton Meet. If the start has to move, it moves to January 21, 2027, and the remaining sessions shift one week. Everyone is told by email as early as possible, and you may take a full refund if the new dates do not work. The cohort runs even if fewer people enroll than planned.

3. Price and payment

The founding price is $249. Law students pay $99 using the student coupon at checkout and must show proof of current enrollment (a .edu address or a current student ID) before the first session. If you use the coupon without being a student, you may pay the $150 difference to keep the seat. Otherwise the seat is cancelled and the $99 refunded. Payment is through Stripe, in full, at checkout.

4. Refunds

You may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund until session 2 begins, which is 7:00 pm Eastern on January 21, 2027 (or the shifted date under section 2). Email us before that time and the refund is returned to the card you paid with. After session 2 begins, no refunds are given, including for sessions you miss. If we cancel the cohort, you receive a full refund.

5. Public or fictional data only

You agree not to bring client, firm or other confidential information into any session, repository, file, discussion or homework. Use public law, published sources and fictional facts. This rule has no exceptions. It protects your clients and your duties, and it is the reason the cohort is built around an article rather than a matter. If confidential material appears, we will ask you to remove it, and we may remove it ourselves and remove you from the cohort without refund if it happens again.

6. Recording

Every session is recorded on Proton Meet so that a written recap can be prepared. By joining a session you consent to being recorded, including your voice, your camera if you turn it on, and anything you share on screen. The recap goes in the private repository after each session. The recording is deleted once the recap is written. Cameras are optional. You may ask to have a question you asked left out of the recap. Email us and we will do it. You may not record sessions yourself.

7. Your license to the materials

The templates, skills, guides, recaps and other materials belong to Tenth Hour Labs LLC. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use them in your own work, including at your firm, for as long as you like. You may not share, resell, publish or teach from them, or give repository access to anyone else. The workspace, databank and article you build are yours.

8. Conduct

Be the colleague you would want in the room. Treat other participants with respect, keep what they share in the cohort inside the cohort, and do not solicit them or scrape their contact details. Harassment or repeated disruption ends your participation without refund.

9. What you pay for yourself

You need a Claude Pro subscription from Anthropic (about $20 a month), a free GitHub account, and a laptop you can install software on. You pay those providers directly, and their terms govern your use of their tools. Tenth Hour Labs is not affiliated with Anthropic or GitHub. If a tool changes its pricing or features during the cohort, we will adapt the material and will not owe you a refund for the change.

10. Adults only

You must be 18 or older to enroll.

11. No promised results

We promise the sessions, the materials and honest answers. We do not promise a finished article, a publication, any outcome in any matter, any amount of time saved, or any effect on your income. AI tools make mistakes. You verify their output before relying on it.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from the cohort is limited to the amount you paid for your seat, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. These terms are governed by Michigan law, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts in Ingham County, Michigan.
